Hanger-On Registered: Mar. 02 | Anyone know of any stream rippers that work on a timer ala Tivo. I'd love to record the show on days I'm not in the office but if I start the ripper before I leave, by time I get back I'll be in little trouble. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated Monkeys on Mars, coming to a screen near you

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | well, if you can be around to start the recording, mp3 stream recorder can record for a set amount of time....that's how I use it. It's available at download.com. I've linked it below. Visit this Website Av8er Radio [AIM] [ICQ] [E-Mail]

Hanger-On Registered: Mar. 02 | I found a program called RadioReplay it dubs itself as Tivo for internet radio. ITs got cool features like timed recording for weekdays and stuff. It cost $30, if anyone has tried it let me know please. Monkeys on Mars, coming to a screen near you
LingRLonger You want back-up's... I've got back-up's... | posted on 04-25-2002 @ 12:13 AM
Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01 | Have used both MP3 Stream ripper that Av8er mentioned and total recorder. Total recorder has the best timer I've seen. The other one records the feed without using the sound card, but has to be started manually (unless you're a complete geek and automated it like I did).
QuickStop I won the last OA.com Sig contest & all I got was this cheesey status... Who is driving? Oh my God! Bear is Driving! How can that be?!? G.O.O.F.B.A.H.G.S. Kickflip b/s Tailslide Strike Team | posted on 04-29-2002 @ 9:09 PM
O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | i have that mp3 stream ripper, but havent really used it. with the mp3 stream ripper, how big a file does a 4 hour show end up being? and can (and how) can you change the bitrate and such of the recordings? AIM | E-MAIL
mulligan FTP....what's an FTP? Do I know you? Are you currently employed by Infinity Broadcasting or the FBI? | posted on 04-29-2002 @ 9:16 PM
Psychopath Registered: Mar. 01 | Total Recorder works very well. If you want other options you can also use your event manager to run applicaitons or batch files. Win Batch is very nice to use for these types of programs. My Guess is if there was an FTP server, Sblueman may have uploaded an entire ZIP file of all you need to use total recorder. But since there is not FTP anymore, I guess I can't tell you to contact me for an account.
