Did anyone else hear the girl from california [think her name started with an 'M']? Was a little after 5...she said she has been listening via "Syndication Underground" for 2(TWO!) & a half years. Who's feed has she been listening to?
I didn't know anyone had been broadcasting that long...I started listening to 'ChuckRadio' [gotta get the plug in] last summer round 'bout the time he started. It was just Chuck & Aggs back then. Maybe she's got a "Private" feed? Or, maybe she meant she's been "listening" to O&A that long but, not necessarily via SU…
Just curious...anyone have any info 'bout feeds prior to 'ChuckRadio'? By the way, wasn't there a guy in here a while back writing his master's thesis on the history of "Syndication Underground"? Maybe he'd know...

No, what I was going to do was write a little history of Syndication Underground, but it was the master's thesis that got in the way of me doing so. However, I first heard of SU in May of last year, during the battle with SILive.com after someone put a WoW sticker on the toll booths at the outerbridge crossing. It took about two weeks, but there was a guy broadcasting on www.shoutcast.com during the whole summer until about mid-late July. There were only about forty slots on the broadcast, and as the summer went on you had to get on the computer earlier and earlier to get a spot to listen to the show. I think by late June I had to start listening to his feed beginning at about eleven o'clock in the morning so I could listen to the O&A show. However, during mid-July, he dropped off and was never heard from again. And then, in early to mid August, I finally found this website and that was about the time that Chuck began streaming. But I agree, when she said 2 1/2 years that she'd been listening to SU, I didn't believe it. I also agree that she might have combined the time she listened to the show on an actual radio with the time listening to it on the computer.

That was me yesterday that called in...I first heard of O&A by mistake I found the program called "AMP Radio" and it had the station number 102.7 and I thoguht it might be a radio station down in CA. but when I clicked on it I heard the Awsome voices of O&A and was speachless of the horific humor they displayed on the radio. I don't know who's feed it was but I listened to it for a long time I know it was in March of 1999 because it was right after my birthday. So I gues it would be like 2 1/4 years of SU. After listening to O&A I soon found about the messageboard and found Chuck radio and other feed here and there which ever one would work. I only became a member in August 2000 and just recently got adopted....I thought I was doing fine by myself sort of keeping a low profile so I wouldn't get ripped on but I was told that being adopted would help. I have been a faithfull listener and love O&A and I am glad I made the mistake of finding them!
