| Psychopath Registered: May. 01  | New topic people, I made this topic so it'll be easier for people to see the new stuff that's being uploaded to the SU FTP. As many of you know already, there's a new FTP made to take rotty's place. And i would have to say, so far it's doing a really good job of doing so. I have personally uploaded a crapload of shows to the FTP so far, and will continue doing so. (I am in the process of uploading 25 old shows into the FTP as i type out this long update, the old shows dates from march-late april. CREDITS GOES OUT TO ROTTY'S FTP, i leeched all the old shows from his FTP) I think in the future, i will continue to encode and upload new shows every night to the FTP, and other crap i find relating to O&A. The sound quality are fixed, the files should be around 40MB and it should sound great from now on. Hopefully i can find other ways to cut it down to even smaller, (edited out the commericals maybe) I will also take suggestions about what i should upload to the FTP here. Here are some examples: 1. the brand new STP album played on FRI 2. Lewis Black, or Otto and George Album 3. Other kickass rock albums (released or unreleased) People should kiss mulligan's ass for giving everyone a chance to get all these stuff. His FTP is the only reason anyone could get any of this. | Psychopath Registered: Mar. 01 | Please keep the oanda FTP limited to just oanda shows, bits, and guests like Brian R., Stephen L., Jay Mohr, etc..... I am trying to provide a service for O&A fans. There are many other free FTP services out there to share games, mp3's, and other stuff. I am not trying to be a dick but the server space and bandwidth will get expensive if this becomes the breeding ground for Dicks Gutter Service of useless non O&A shit. If you think I am being a dick then See my post on the F-U board!!  | ||||

Also, regarding Mulligan's requestion to upload only O&A stuff. It's totally reasonable, and he has the right to say this. So don't worry, i will upload only O&A shows and nothing else. And thanx again for giving us a place to share all the O&A stuff. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | Mulligan asked about the speed to his FTP, so here's what i'm getting: Upload speed: 35 K/sec Download speed: 50-60 K/sec and he also asked about is it easy to use the FTP? LoL, it shouldn't be too hard as long as people read. One question for anyone that knows alot about live365 feeds: Out of all the livefeeds, Sblueman's radio has probably the best quality on my cpu, but i had alot of problem regarding his feed getting dropped in the middle of the show. If anyone can help with this, i could actually use Sblueman's feed instead of the static-filled one = better quality shows uploaded to the FTP. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | Just encoded today's show, it's static-free, and it sounds great. The size is about 30MB, and that's including the last 30 minutes of Ron and Fez. NOT BAD! It'll be in the FTP in about 20 minutes or so. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | Someone informed me that i dated the filename wrong in the upload folder.... So i went and checked, man... i felt like a retard..... Hopefully Mulligan corrects the filename when he moves the file tomorrow... In case people don't know what i'm talking about: The "O&A 6-19-01" show that's in my folder now is suppose to be "O&A 6-20-01" That's it for now, the 2 albums are uploaded and is currently sitting in the same folder... have fun. | ||||

Well people, it's your lucky day! Because I went thru my many stashes of computer porn and guess what? SLAPHAPPY 1 BABY! So it'll be upped sometime this week.... (LoL, i'm hoping Mulligan is OK with this, if not, he could always delete the movie) | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Mar. 01 | JGNYC - Where you enter the login name and password there should be a box that you can check to select anonymous. If you check that you should be able to upload to the upload folder with no problem. I will put a diagram up in the AM. When in FTP Exlorer select menu items Tools > Connect. This will bring you to the connect screen. Select the entry for the FTP site and you should see the anonymous check box. Select it and then hit save and then connect. Let me know if that helps. Also, if you have the Tommy Lee and Pam Anderson video - Please upload - I can't believe I still have not seen it. | ||||
