Hanger-On Registered: Nov. 00 | I just bought a MP3 CD Player and I want to make a CDR of the best bits. Each CD should hold about 12-24 hrs of music (depending on the file size), so I'd like to fill it with full shows of some awesome bits. Like the "Antonette" show, or the Voyeur Bus day. If anyone remembers the specific date these great bits happened on, or recomnend any other shows, let me know. Gay Marco and the N'Sync tickets was funny as hell, and last week's Best-Of was awesome. I dunno, help me out with filling the CD. Thanks Hello, Hello, Is Thing Thing On? Check Out My O&A Pics Webpage

Hanger-On Registered: Nov. 00 | Thank You barch for your help. I asked a simple question wanting people to tell me what their favorite bits were, and for them to tell me what days the bits happened, it wasn't meant for a-holes like you. Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | Try going to the FTP site and looking up O&A bits. There is a huge collection there, as well as Napster. If you don't know about the FTP site, look up one of the previous posts about it. More feeds are more gooder! Hanger-On Registered: Nov. 00 | You guys aren't understanding my question. I want to include shows from when people claim it was "the best bit ever". Like, does anyone know the date when they had Ron Jeremy and Stalker Patty in the studio? I'd like to specifically save that entire show. Does anybody remember the date that Antonette called up for Rick Springfield tickets? Also, what other bits would you consider their "best"? Hello, Hello, Is Thing Thing On? Hanger-On Registered: Nov. 00 | I answered my own question. I never even knew it was there. On Foundry, there is a daily and a weekly recap. It's all the info I need. If any of you knew about this, that's all I wanted to know!! Oh, and thanks mulligan for the great ftp site. Also, thank Rotty... Hello, Hello, Is Thing Thing On? Check Out My O&A Pics Webpage

Hanger-On Registered: Nov. 00 | Hey, I have a different question. How do I convert the mp3s I have downloaded already from 24kbps-22khz? My MP3 cd player "only read mp3s that are sampled at 44.1 khz and encoded between 32Kbps and 196Kbps". Is there a program that I can use to increase the bitrate? I know the files would be much bigger and the sound wouldn't improve at all, but still, I want to get these to work on my MP3 CD player. Sorry for all the questions. Hello, Hello, Is Thing Thing On? O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jul. 00 | IsThisThingOn?: I think we may have gotten off to a bad start here. And, to be honest, I feel kinda bad for jumpin' all over you last couple questions (you gotta admit they were pretty stupid questions though). By the way, how'd the lawn sprinkler thing work out?..haven't seen any pics yet... You answered your own question? quote: You asked for our opinions...how can you answer that yourself? In the future...keep in mind that no matter how much sense it makes in your head...we're not in your head (God knows there's probably room for us) Anyway, if you don't state your question in a clear & understandable manner...you gotta expect to get smart ass replies. One more thing... Lighten up. It's just a message board. Long Live the "Syndication Underground"

Hanger-On Registered: Nov. 00 | I'm answering more and more of my own questions... but I still need some help. I think I found the date Antoinette called in for the Rick Springfield tickets. I found a 1 min clip on foundry added on 03-01-2001. So, I'm assuming the show was a few days earlier. I also think the show was a Monday, so I'm assuming that the show I am looking for is February 26th, 2001. Does anyone know where I can find this show? Also, my other question... how do I convert the "24kbps-22khz" shows I've been downloading to "32kbps-44khz" so my cd player will recognize it? Thanks. Hello, Hello, Is Thing Thing On? O&A Board Regular Registered: May. 00 | If you want to change the mhz you must convert the mp3 to wav, change the mhz rate and then convert BACK into a mp3. Sorry if it sounds so tedious but this is the only way to do it.

Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | I agree with the Rowelentless' answer to your problem. It's a pain in da ass, but that's about the only way of doing it... I know there are several audio programs that will do all the decoding and converting for you, i think Audioactive production professional ed. is one, and Goldwave might be the other one. Both of them will save you the trouble of doing it step by step. If you can't get your hands on those programs, you would have to get a mp3 decoder and also an encoder. Good luck!

Hanger-On Registered: Nov. 00 | argh... I've converted the file to wav... and then converted it back to mp3... hours later... it solved the 24kbps-22khz problem I was having. Now I have it at 96kbps-22khz... but my CD player doesn't recognize a 22khz file, it must be 44khz... How do I convert the 96kbps-22khz file to 96kbps-44khz? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm still trying to complete this CD before my trip in less than two weeks. Hello, Hello, Is Thing Thing On? Check Out My O&A Pics Webpage
