And even if he DID say it off handed, imagining that Ozzy would actually remember it shows how delusional he is. Next thing you'll know, he'll claim he wrote a script during Caddyshack whose ideas was stolen to become Ghostbusters. As for Private Parts, it wasn't the worst movie (albeit more fictional than Star Wars) but I do remember him saying how he was robbed of an Oscar nomination in all earnesty. HE WASN'T THAT GOOD. It was right before he did an interview with Paulie Mac from the Beatles. Howard asked Ozzy if he could even DO the show on his production company, so, I hate to say it but Howard has a valid point here. Give me more beer | ||||

If he was the inspiration to Ozzie, nobody'd believe him because he is the boy who cried wolf. I'll give him some credit for "Private Parts" - I enjoyed it, although there was a shitload of facts changed for movie purposes, and as Ikea boy pointed out, he was upset that he wasn't nominated for an oscar for playing himself. Probably a 3 star movie, which is pretty good considering the topic.  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jul. 00 | Stern has his own production company. If it was truly his idea, he has no right to bitch because he could have just done it himself. That fact that he's bitching about it now just points to the fact that he fucked up. You never hear him bragging about how he had the idea for "Son of the Beach" or "Doomsday" I respect what Howard's done and think he does a good radio show, but he's a whiny bastard when it comes to this stuff. He honestly thinks everything he touches to gold. He says he will kick Dave's ass if they pick him for The Late Show (which will never happen because it's all just Dave using the media for $ anyway). But, the fact is his CBS Sat Show couldn't beat SNL or MadTV and now he expects to beat Letterman, Leno, and Blind Date. He needs someone in his life to bring him down off his ego trip. Unless, of course, he plays that all up for the radio cause he knows his sheep will follow him. Either he's an idiot or incredibly saavy. I'm betting on the latter. | ||||
