From DCRTV: Death Prank "Not Funny" - 3/27 - DCRTV hears from reliable sources that Don Geronimo (whose real name is Mike Sorce) is not amused at the fake Washington Post story about his demise that was posted on the internet on 3/26. Look for him and his radio partner, Mike O'Meara, to respond to listeners' questions about the situation when they return to the airwaves on Thursday (Wednesday's 11 AM show was a long-scheduled "best of"), but don't expect a "bloodbath," we're told. The "news" had a particularly negative effect on the radio personality's family (which was on vacation), and especially on his son. DCRTV also hears that various parties - including Geronimo himself, Infinity (which owns his DC station, WJFK) and even the Post - are contemplating legal action against the operator of the donandmikefans.com website, which ran the phony "tumor" story. "Two words: not funny," a source close to the DC radio duo told DCRTV. "This is serious sh*t."  | ||||

It turned out that the person who was doing DMFans was the same person that had cyber-squatted on a bunch of other Don and Mike domains (including DonAndMike.com), and has been for years. Nothing will come of the lawsuit from Don (the Washington Post is another story...don't fuck with them!).
