| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | As seen on WNEW.com. If any O&A fan sees Radio Chick stuff, I think they should destroy it, deface it, graffitti it, put wow on it, whatever. F' the chick and her fake breasts. RadioChick Crusade Official Contest Rules – “The Radio Chick Crusade†How to Enter the Contest. a) The Radio Chick crusade will begin on April 2, 2001 and end on June 15, 2001. b) The Radio Chick program will choose 12 teams – any number of people can be on a team. These teams will be known as the “12 Disciples.†There are also two (2) additional ways a team not sanctioned by the Radio Chick Program (a “rogue†team) can enter the contest – 1) If a team fails to perform 2 challenges, a “rogue†team can step in, replace them, and steal the points they have collected so far. Competing teams be placed on probation after the first failed event to put “rogue†teams on alert or 2) If during the contest, a rogue team just proves their worthiness with an unbelievable stunt done on their own, Radio Chick staff can decide to add them to the disciples, and they can compete in the remaining challenges. Each team will name themselves, and elect a captain who will serve as the spokesperson for the team on-air. Each week during the contest, Radio Chick and her staff will select one (1) challenge for the 12 teams to complete in against each other. The challenge will involve spreading the word about the radio show through any number of ways. Each successive challenge is worth an escalating amount of points, so at any time any team can be competitive. Proof of the successful execution of the challenge is needed -- teams are responsible for providing their own proof every week to get points (i.e.: photos, audio, video, signatures, etc.) c) All challenges must be completed and executed in compliance with all federal, state and local laws. Entries that do not comply with the law will not be eligible for consideration. Station is not responsible for entries or proposed entries that break any existing laws. Station is not responsible for lost, stolen, mangles, misdelivered, illegible or untimely entries. Station is not responsible for telephone service outages/delays, muffled, or incomplete phone calls. d) All entries become property of WNEW and can be used by WNEW for any purpose including promotion of the station without further compensation to entrant. No entries will be returned. Eligibility Restrictions a) This contest is open to all WNEW-FM listeners who are 18 years of age or older and who reside in the New York metropolitan area. Employees of WNEW-FM, its licensee, corporate parent Infinity Broadcasting Corporation, Viacom, Inc., affiliated entities, its affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the New York City metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. b) Listeners are eligible to win a WNEW-FM contest only once every sixty days and a prize valued at $600 or more only once every six months. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest. Prizes a) Team that accumulates the most points will split the grand prize of $10,000 equally between each team member. b) Sponsor will provide weekly prizes to be determined to the top 3 point-getters after each challenge. c) All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of WNEW-FM, 888 Seventh Avenue, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10106. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within 45 days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its arrival. WNEW-FM is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate. d) Contest prizes are non-transferable. Weekly prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash. Selection of Winners a) Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final. b) Weekly winners will be announced on-air during the Radio Chick program each Friday of the contest. c) The Grand Prizewinner(s) will be announced on-air during the Radio Chick program. d) The team that successfully completes the challenge – providing proof to the satisfaction of the Radio Chick and her staff – will be chosen the winners for that week and awarded the most points. e) The team with the most points at the conclusion of the entire “crusade†will win the grand prize. Conditions a) Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent. b) By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize. c) Contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize valued at $600 or greater or which prize includes the provision of transportation, whether or not such transportation is provided by WNEW-FM. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold WNEW-FM, its corporate licensee, its parent company Infinity Broadcasting Corporation, affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or contest. d) WNEW-FM reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. e) No purchase necessary. The contest is void where prohibited. f) Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification. g) Copies of the written contest rules are available during regular business hours at the main studio of WNEW-FM 888 Seventh Avenue – 10th Floor, New York, NY 10106. Sponsors: Adultshop.com and Infinity Broadcasting Corporation, doing business as WNEW-FM Radio. Teens, making the world a better place to live in. | ||||

Wait?..I got it?..Instead of giving 10 grand to some slick fuck up ad agency, lets make it a prize in a cheap promotional contest! We can get listeners to run around the area and embarrass themselves with sily promotional stunts. Maybe if they break a law or two we can get our shows name in the paper or on the nightly news....you can't BUY that kind of advertising (he says in his best Herb Tarlek voice) This sound about right to anyone? If O&A ever have to resort to this sort of gimik we shoudl rue(sp?) the day Few posts placed. Many posts read. Flag posts give you splinters. | ||||

Maybe to take on Howard Stern, maybe to get better ratings, whatever. They're leaving. Why would they stay at a station where Howard Stern dictates what they can and can't say? The only question that remains is where will they wind up? WNEW isn't giving O&A shit because they are no longer interested in promoting a show that will probably not be in the air in 60 days. They joke about mornings all the time but I really don't see them doing that. they have a hardcore audience in the afternoons and most people would not be able to listen to this type of show at work. WNEW was meant to be a tax write off for Infinity, but O&A rooned it so, Infinity is pissed at O&A for bringing it back from the grave. Keep this in mind that O&A are not the bad guys or the good guys. Stern and Infinity are. WNEW managment is cheaper than Opie. Any beef between Chick and O&A is personal and business, its got nothing to do with you and you probably have no idea any way. You're talking like its so gay that they're asking people to get their name out there with stunts and etc. but isn't that exactly what O&A did too? Did you call THEM gay when they did it? I doubt it. You are truly an effing TOOL. And I heard Ron & Fez are doing some big giveaway too with a $10,000 prize, so I expect to see you on here dissing them too when they announce it. People like you just make me pissed because O&A and Chick used to be cool, I don't know what happened but thats none of my business anyway. I just listen to the shows and laugh. That's all I'm looking for out of it. I'm not wishing harm on any other shows or dissing them. You need to take it down a notch and re-evaluate your life. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01 | Drunken GW speaks the truth. "CBS/Viacom/Infinity/Whatever Else They Want to Add On" owns the major stations in the biggest markets. Where will O&A go, HOT97 ("This is the off the hook, yo")? Or how about La Mega ("Esta Anthony para 'Strauss Discount Auto...' ")? Expect the boys to get a decent sized pay boost for now, with the promise that once that certain morning personality's final contract is up, they will get the big windfall, as well as morning drive time and, most likely, national syndication. Granted, WNEW treats them like garbage, but CBS on the whole will not want to lose one-half of its dominance in the key radio airtimes in the #1 market. And as for the Radio Chickie... wasn't she fired? She's back on the air? When the f--- did THAT happen? Believe me, no one has noticed except Ron and Fez, 'cause they went from a four hour show to three to accomodate her. Are you pondering what I'm pondering? Like I said before and I will say again, I like all the shows on WNEW, I hate all the animosity because fact is for all the people who love O&A and claim they hate the Chick, they still listen, just like they ALL listen to Stern every morning I don't care about any of that drama. I just don't know when it all went to shit and why O&A turned on the Chick and started hating her. Was it because she was getting ratings? I'm not saying that to be cocky or what have you, but why or what happened that made O&A suddenly hate the Chick? Chuck Nice from the Chick Show will be at Carolines next week with Jim Norton. If they can't get along, why can't O&A and the Chick show? | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01 | ManBag: The Chickie thinks the boys were the ones who got her fired back in January. Her ratings were actually semi-decent at that point... HOWEVER, this was due to the fact we were all tuning in to O&A's "Best of..." show, which aired during what would have been the last hour of her old 11:00-3:00 midday slot. The fact is, WNEW was planning to do some major upheavals, the Chick was going to be one of the victims, and the deal (which probably also involved Don & Mike, but that's a story for another day) fell through, so they had to backpedal and cover their asses and return to somethig akin to the previous status quo.
