Howard is not in the Hall of Fame. “I deserve a billion dollars for what I’ve created. There are a million guys making a million dollars off of what I’ve done. Cousin Brucie’s claim to fame was his scary toupee. I haven’t had much luck in my life as a human being; I’m a cripple inside. The one thing I did right was get on the radio and be honest, use real language, and give people real entertainment. The people I work with in radio don’t even want to fess up to it. They all put their heads in the sand and pretend they are on top of it. They’re a bunch of freaks. If I were in the film industry, they would have given me 50 Academy Awards by now.† | ||||

| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | As someone said as much as I hate him now you really have to look at the big picture and realize what's he's done and accept that he really did do a lot for the format. Then when you look at the big picture you realize that Opie and Anthony might very well become better than he ever was because they are smarter, quicker and know how to utilize the Internet to their advantage (I always love his "The reason I don't have a website is because once I do all the other radio hosts in the universe will rip off the format"). As for the film analogy that is one of the most retarded analogies I've ever heard. He really thinks that movie was perfection, last time I heard the show they were still playing for intros news reports about how he will be playing himself in PRivate Parts the movie (It came out nearly 5 years ago and the only good part was Paul Giametti who is totally underreated). Also why does he think he'd win Acadamy Awards. His writing isn't top notch, he can't act and comic performances are rarely acknowledged by the Oscars ([ron's paul O voice] I'm giving a Stern warning to the Acadamy to nominate Howard for Oscar Ageeee [/ron's paul O voice]). And think of the people in the film industry who never won an Acadamy Award: Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, Alfred Hitchcock, Harrison Ford, Akira Kurosawa- getting an Oscar isn't everything and no matter what Sir Howard of Radio, you'll never be a Jack Nicholson. The narrator in Fight Club is the man we will be, Patrick Bateman in American Psycho is the man we want to be Eliza Dushku- Hotter Than Britney | ||||
