Did I just hear correctly that D&M want people to promiss to listen to entire show and they will send you a card, and then call you to give you prizes?

This sounds remarkably like R&F's Big Ass Card, and their 3 hour tour.

I hate it when Stern accuses others of ripping him off (hoo hoo), but I thought the 3 hr tour was pretty original. Is this a common radio bit or is this a rip off?

As a long time D&M listener, I can tell you this isn't a rip-off. They did the same thing 5 years ago, and now they're just bringing it back.

I hadn't heard it in NY before, and seemed pretty different.

Maybe someone will now change the thread to R&F ripped off D&M

Listening for along time to get the Card/Secret Message dates back to 1940s radio, the last time I checked.


However, Ron and Fez are doing a tounge in cheek/parody of it version of it, while Don And Mike are doing it for real.

I prefer the parody :)
