| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | FU to the fact that I screwed up big time today. To the torment I have been putting myself through because of it. FU for putting me in this position. For making me burn the candle at both ends, for making me bust my ass to help us grow so that someday I might..... and I emphasize MIGHT have room for advancement. FU for putting the fate of the company on my shoulders without a net. Today I completely fucked up. Because of my error, all I have worked for, everything I have done to help you in the hopes that it might get me a few steps ahead in this world, dangles from a delicate thread. You have pushed me. You have thrown me to the wolves countless times, knowing that I often work best under pressure. You have gambled that if you pissed me off enough, I would solve everything just to spite you out of rage. But perhaps you went to the well one time too many? Now, I could blame my error on the fatigue that has settled in from working nearly 60 hours in three days. I could blame the fact that you have put me into the pit unarmed. I could blame the mental stress that has ensued from the chronic snags in this project. I could blame all these things and many more, but ultimately there is no one else to blame. If I couldn't handle it, whose fault is it? Ultimately, I am responsible. I lost the parts. I failed to secure them properly. I allowed fatigue to get the best of me. Most people in the know on the current situation will say that I am not to blame. But if not me..... who? No one, and that above all else is what pisses me off. I expect more from myself. I expect near perfection. I do not tolerate mistakes on my end. I pride myself on always doing the job right. Today, I did not, and now I must suffer the consequences. You, being the person you are, will not look past this indescretion to all of the good things I have brought to the table. You will think only of the money I have cost you. I have a feeling you will seek to make me pay for the lost goods. Perhaps I will, perhaps I won't, that all remains to be seen. I know you will come for your pound of flesh. You thrive on power. You live to feel superior. You crave control. Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but there is no humiliation you can bestow upon me that will ever equal the punishments I levy upon myself. To any of you who have high expectations of yourself, I suspect that you will understand. There is nothing more irritating to a "perfectionist" than being the one who dropped the ball. When someone else screws up, I fix it. When I screw up, it is as if I had grown a second head. Who fixes the fixer?  School's out, shouldn't you have a job? The Slackjaw School of Satire and Sodomy has completed the removal of all carcinogens..... now they are Tequila's mess! We are officially back in business, first new adoptee gets a lifetime pass to the new fun park facilities! Yes, yes, Spermie World is up and running! Two Slots open. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | damn Slack Jaw don't be so hard on your self. almost 60 hours in 3 days is rediculous & if you do make a mistake under those conditions its acceptable. it should also be by you. nothing is ALWAYS done perfect & it shows that you are human. if you strive on perfection just let it slide for the time being & get some rest & fix your mistake. its OK to Fuck UP every once in a while. yes even a perfectionist. just get some rest & start with a fresh clear head tomorrow  Thank you Jolene for the sig!!!
