| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00  | New York is trying to get itself back together after the horrific attack of the Center. People are moving on with their lives but the shadow of tragedy still follows each citizen of this city. Heroes are fighting against rubble and smoke and fear to rescue the few who might have some hope of living left. Thousands are volunteering their time, blood and supplies to the many injured and many saviors. And on poles throughout the country we have many posters. Missing posters, how to give aid posters and...peace posters. Posters with such simple language and understanding as "We Are All Humans," "Hurting them makes us no better than we are," "New York wants justice, not revenge" and "ISLAM is not the Enemy, WAR is not the answer, Promote Peace, Spread the Word." That is why I, and I'm asking the rest of you to join me, am presenting "opposing" view points on these posters. Writing things like "We do nothing, they attack. We do nothing, they ATTACK AGAIN!!!"; "Sometimes we need war to assure peace"; and "Justice IS Revenge!!"  "Drop the Bomb, Exterminate them all"- Colonel Kurtz | ||||
