| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | hey here's a news flash, the pres does very little to actually run the country, it's everyone else. all he does is sign a few things that the rest of his cabinet makes up. it's not just g.w. bush, it all the fine leaders before him, and it will probably be all the leaders after him too. give the man a break, war was declared on our country, something that has never been done before, he's doing a pretty good job all things considered. Even if it WERE I would much rather have someone that's well-rested and can think clearly deciding the fate of our men and women overseas. It's arguably a much more constructive relaxation technique than say, getting hummers from interns while you're discussing pending legislation with people on the phone.  Thank you to all the brave volunteers who brought us all together as a country, and thank you to those of you brave soldiers who will fight and have fought for our country. If people are complaining about Bush going to Camp David on the weekend (something Clinton did quite often, as well as suckle off the government teet by going on a nice little worldwide goodbye tour on our dime) I was simply trying to find something as equally inane that prior presidents have done. Also, most of your neo-cons are quite in favor of NAFTA so why would they desire to use that against him? Moving the President as business as usual is the message we want to send to the sand tramps. George Bush Sr signed NAFTA into law and committed our troops to Somalia, all in December of 1992, the last month he was in office. Sign the law and let your successor get stuck with it. Real nice. And for the missle attack on the pharmacutical company in the Sudan, you failed to mention AM that that same factory was only manufacturing 20% of it's output on pharmacuticals. The rest of the plant was manufacturing nerve agent gasses. Reasearch all your facts before you form an opinion. The attack was authorized only after intellegence provided by the Saudi's and Sudanese was verified.  Who want's to play Afghan Bingo? So it's bad that Bush goes on vacation to Camp David which is an already owned and paid for governmental retreat? You would prefer that instead of going to that spot, he instead choses to go to a completely different vacation spot like Clinton always used to? Thus having to pay for inordinate additional amounts of travel, security, survelliance, and lodging?  | ||||

Oh and if the government was so sure it was 80% nerve gas how come a UN inquiry into the details was blocked.
