| Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01  | People suck. Holidays suck. Retail sucks. Being that godawful age out of high school but not quite an adult yet sucks. Malls suck. Walking sucks. High-heels suck. Being phoney sucks. Arrogant high school boys who think they're deep suck. Bosses who hire on seasonal help at more than they're paying you, who's been there for a year, sucks. Not eating all day and getting dizzy and collapsing on the sales floor sucks. Not having one person say thank you for getting there early and staying late sucks. Expecting too much from people who you know will never thank you sucks. Being nice to every body you work with all day and then having half of them tell you what they don't like about you for no other reason than they felt like it sucks. I just bought Fight Club, and I'm so close to pulling that "beat your ass up and blaming the boss for it" schitck. And yeah, I know, get over it... But you know what? I keep telling myself the same thing, and the only thing that helps is...... Ah, fuck, I thought I'd think of something, but dammit, I couldn't, and I thought for a whole five or six minutes, which is a long time when you're thinking about shit like this. Wha'er... Just... | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | I worked retail during Christmas time once. I got axed after 5 days because i flipped on a customer and her kid. I remember saying something to the effect of "Rot in hell you dripping cunt, and take your bitch son with you", but Im not entirely sure. Whatever. They pay sucked and i stole massively from them, so it evened out.

| Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01 | Yeah, I started a year ago at this store, and two friends from high school work there, which isn't always a good thing. I don't mind the customers. They always leave (eventually). It's the people you see everyday. The damn mall has turned into my really big appartment. It's where I keep all my stuff. My kitchen is up at William Sonoma, my living room is over at the Pottery Barn. My game room is split between Game Keeper and the Electronics Boutique, and my closet is Victoria's Secerets. *sigh* I'm just sick of living off corn dogs and Mrs. Field's cookies, you know? Well, fucking beats driving two hours to be a mediocre accountant at a lumber yard for forty-five hours a week... | ||||
