The fucking site sends me the following e-mail "We will direct your email to the correct department and a representative will be getting back to you shortly. Sorry for the delay. Please call in if you need expedited service. Happy Holidays," What the fuck!!!!!!!! I want my fucking camera! I paid 12 bucks for 3 day shipping and after a week I dont have it! Fuck! | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | i've also ordered a lot of things online without a problem. however, i used to work customer service for an online store and there's a multitude of things that could go wrong. the people in the warehouses who actually pack the stuff up and send it, are often low paid moron's for whom english isn't the first language (at least that's how it was for us, but then, the warehouse was in bayonne) anyway, for the most part, order problems were usually because of a mistake made by the customer. i used to have a list of expired or bad credit cards to go through everyday, calling the customers, emailing them, and more often than not, never got through to them, then they call a week later to bitch that they never got their stuff. also, if you ordered expedited shipping, it is not 3 days from the day you order, it's 3 days from when it gets shipped this could be several days, or more, especially at xmas time. read the fine print. also, you'd be amazed at how much stuff dissappears once it's in the hands of ups, or whatever shipper the site uses. anyway, basically, you need to call customer service, and be nice to the reps, they didn't fuck up your order and the more trouble you give them, the longer they'll take to fix your problem. if it was lost by the shipper, they get charged for it and you get sent a replacement. to send back for exchange or refund, often, they'll pay the shipping and/or have the shipper pick it up for you. as far as the camera goes, if you got that email, there was probably something wrong with the order and you probably weren't charged for it, or the shipping. thank you, that was my public service announcement for the day. oh, and if you place an order online, always always always write down or print out your order confirmation number. if you call about an order without it, it's gonna be a huge pain in the ass. when thousands of orders go through a day, they won't be able to pull up your information when you tell them your name is john smith and that's all the info you remember.  need me? try: [email protected] | ||||
