They've hyped up how into NASCAR they are and then they just alienate all of southern new york so that they can show a fucking baseball game!!! I'm saying that Fox should have giving the rights to the game to MSG and open up southern New York to the race.. The ratings would have been lower, but I think FOX could handle it and that way, they wouldn't have to alienate NASCAR fans.. Or perhaps I'm blaming the wrong people.. Maybe I should blame the ignorant people in this part of the state who are so full of their own shit that they are unwilling to release their southern prejudices and realize that NASCAR is catching on everywhere in the country except here because there is a hell of a lot more to it than cars going in a circle for 3 hours! I used to think the same thing until I said, "Hey before I bash the sport, maybe I should give it a chance." Perhaps its because I've actually been away from this part of the world and been around cultured people who realize that other places exist in the world... If you like that kind of thing, more power to ya, but I, along with 99.9% of the New York area would much rather watch the greatest rivalry in professional sports history.
