You can hire someone based on the fact that they are qualified and do not use any narcotic and they come in and fuck the company totally. Then you can hire someone who is also qualified but they ssmoke weed and they will perform to no end. Most people have the misconception of potheads being slackers, and when we are stoned, most of the time we like to chill. But the reason that most people out of their teens use pot is because they have high levels of stress, and the buds help reduce that level when they are out of the work place. While we are on the subject, alcohol is a drug and it's fucking legal! so just because some people don't use illeagl drugs, it doesn't mean that they aren't a drug addict. | Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | Jewdown, where should I start? First of all, if pot is so important to you that you would risk your career over it, keep on toking. Perhaps my joke stings so because you do not consider your job a profession. In that case, I'd suggest finding something you truly enjoy and make that your career. Maybe that will even fill the void you use pot for now. I must admit, my drug of choice is beer. I enjoy one or two on a fairly regular basis. However, when I do imbibe, I do it responsibly, as you claim to toke responsibly. The only difference is I am not honor bound by duty to not drink, only to not use illicit substances. You are violating the trust between you and your employer by continuing to use drugs. You are lying to protect yourself, only not verbally. Therefore, you are being dishonest to yourself and your coworkers, and are no better than those you accuse of being less than honest. My boss does not tolerate drug users, and obviously yours does not either. Otherwise, the company could save that $200-$500 per employee. Of course, in my career, it would also be hypocritical to break the law. In your case, it may just be poor judgement. And, once again, GO FUCK YOURSELF AIM:isdononthephone | ||||
