| O&A Board Veteran Registered: May. 00  | basically i just wanted to title the thread that way so if someone does the search topic function they can see that thread title and speculate as to what it means. sean gave me an idea by doing what he did, by the way sean bravo as to your actions with LR. if we find someone who needs to be banned, instead of banning him, deleting the account would be a suitable action until the admin functions are fixed. that way the poster can't post anymore and we dont lose face by letting someone who is obviously in need of banning keep posting. all in favor just nod your head.:) on another note i was wondering about the impact of this coming week on the board. things could go either way it looks, unless im just not in the know about the situation, which admittedly im not. with syndication that they were talking about yesterday there will be a ton of new people on the board and we will have to be able to react to that. we should come up with some sort of gameplan, so to speak, to deal with the influx of, hi im new here threads, we have my newbie sign-in thread, but is that enough? can we hold off the inevitable tooling that these new people will get for posting these threads? should we post a "dealing with newbies" thread or something to that effect? any ideas are welcome. it should be an interesting week to say they least.:) oh and have a great memorial day weekend guys and gals. I had it out with Kingpin about what he and Grumpy were doing with tha lame ass clown posse. I told him that if he and Grumps want to rag on Kid, feel free, but at least use your real screen names instead of being spineless faggots! Drastic times and shit, at least we showed some force today and a few peeps have noticed, which is a good thing. We can't just sit around and let some of these shit necks run all over us so now it got worse for them. Deleting the account removes all of there posts from normal view. You can only see them when you try and post a reply. We should remember this tatic in the futre for when a fuck face tries and go out in a blaze of glory! | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I for one didn't want to delete the account for two reasons.. 1:Wasn't sure if that was messed up too, and I didn't want to risk having my account deleted instead. 2:Didn't want to lose a record of LR IP. BTW Sean.. don't know what happened today..I'll see if I can track it down.. but one way or the other...THANK YOU for doing it... the crackbaby posters have driven me practicly insane the past few days. I think Face has a point though.. maybe Froy should consider sending a brief letter or thread out to the current members that unwarranted tooling will not be tolerated if we get a new influx of new members... that they should attempt to help or allow us to.. I know if we do get some new members there will be some ass-f's who deserve to get reamed, and it should be pretty obvious which ones those will be though. --edit-- Don't know if sean got the Laughriot acct IP.. but here is the Heap acct IP: 24.184.160.15  No! | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Oct. 00 | Well, to add my insignificant two cents here (shut up meanie!), I think that each of us should post something in "our" forum when syndication happens and let all the new members know what is what. In other words, I think we should come up with a posting policy and then ask each new member to comply. I know it won't ideally. But, if they have a blueprint to work from, at least they and our current members will have some place to work from. Bottom line, give them something to use to keep from fucking up completely. I'm working on a draft message. Fuck you all very much! | ||||
