| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | I just read in some gossip mag that Britney wanted to go topless in a new video to show off her bod, but was told no cuz she might alienate her younger female fans. As a compromise, supposedly they shot a wet t-shirt shot. The producers or whatever deny they shot it, but not that the idea was tossed around. Could this be a new beginning? I heard she wanted to lose the good~girl image. I say let her do what she wants, if she loses her fan base, her horrible songs go away and we don't have to watch her get old and decrepit. But that doesn't mean it won't ever happen. Seems Britney Spears was determined to shed her innocence by going topless in her movie debut - but lost her battle with the director. The topless scene in the upcoming film "What Friends Are For" was reportedly banned (to keep it PG?) by Director Tamra Davis, much to Spears' dismay. A film crew member says, "Spears kept begging the director to do a topless scene because she wanted to show off her body." But in the end Davis and Spears are rumored to have compromised, "They ended up doing a wet T shirt scene but Britney was visibly upset so they stopped filming," he said. Movie fans, don't despair. Not only did we loose a Brittney topless (I did hear she does an AMAZING strip tease in the flick) but in that crazy/beautiful flick Kirsten Dunst FILMED a nude scene that they cut to keep it PG-13. What would get more business people, nude Dunst or PG-13 Dunst? Still I probably won't see the Spears movie.
