| Hanger-On Registered: Aug. 01  | Is it just me or has Ron and fez become a more fun show to listen than O&A. For example this past week i actually listen to there replays and enjoyed it unlike O&A.Plus the dont have famous guest which helps. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | I've also been enjoying Ron and Fez best of more than O & A. It's a different kind of humor that somehow stands up a lot better to multiple listenings. Don't get me wrong,... Britney Spears Virginity and the Dice-man "Got you last" War are funny every time, but,... ah, whatever, I dont care what you think.

| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | My first instict was to tool on this thread, but maybe the topic isn't all that bad. I'll admit that I've been listening to Ron&Fez best ofs the last few days, mostly because there hasn't been shit on TV. I found myself more interested in the repeats of R&F because I've missed more of their shows than I have of O&A's. I think that when you listen to O&A as frequently as most of us do, when worst of shows come around, you're less likely to listen, because you've heard all the bits 3 or 4 times already. Ron & Fez is a good show, but I've listened to O&A, and R&F are no O&A. I am however, looking forward to future AFRO shows. I can't wait for the Christmas party show, should be pretty god damn funny.

| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | Both shows have thier merits. Ron and Fez are little more laid back than O+A, and RF semms less structured in content, like the old O+A show. For more gut busting laughs O+A are still the king. However Ron and Fez are catching up. Al Dukes= New Spaz !!! The peeing contest was the best thing they've done in months.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Sep. 01 | I am not exactly sure why this is, but I think that replays of Ron and Fez are better than replays of Opie and Anthony. There are several reasons for this, mostly it's the fact that I miss Ron and Fez live shows a lot and you sometimes here an O & A worst of over and over and over when they're on break as Kid mentioned. There's also a lot of other entertaining stuff going on at the time Ron and Fez are on, it's in television's prime time after all, making listening to Ron and Fez not a first priority and devaluing what they say. When it comes to live shows, O & A rock. You usually have to go a while before you hear something funny on Ron and Fez but those moments have lasting power, like the Fezitorials, but god forbid Iris calls up they find another thing to critique about Al Dukes. Opie and Anthony are a quicker paced show. When listening live, rarely do you want to turn to the FAN or some other form of entertainment but if you listen to the show as much as I do, vacation time equals less O & A show time. WNEW can get rid of a lot of bad programming if they had AFRO shows regularly scheduled, they rock. The fact that they don't occur as often as some of us (including myself) would like to only makes the few precious AFRO shows that much more entertaining. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | Honestly I usually enjoy listening to Ron and Fez more than Opie and Anthony most of the time. Like late nightt on SU I'd rather listen to R&F replays than O&A replays. Something about the show just puts me in such a mood. O&A are very quick paced and often they'll have an entire break of great stuff and a few breaks recovering from it. This can easily be shown that topics during R&F best ofs usually take 2, 3 breaks of a show while a topic in an O&A best of is just one bit long. Ron and Fez never have a bit that's as laugh out loud funny as something like the QVC guy but Ron and Fez have multiple breaks in a row on one topic that makes you giggle and puts you in a good mood. That actually helps because many O&A bits get replayed, especially with the opening best of bit every day and often get dull after awhile. That being said I don't think I've laughed as hard as a one liner in O&A as I did when Ron was talking about Empire Strikes Back and said that after Luke got his hand chopped off he screamed "Oh my god, HE'S a robot." Someone else also said that Opie and Anthony are too big and I cna see that, they are appealing to a larger audience while Ron and Fez have a certain core and for some reason I feel more part of the Ron and Fez Family than of the O&A family. Also, for some strange reason, i feel I'd rather intern/work on Ron and Fez than intern/work on Opie and Anthony. Of course I'd jump at the chance of getting an internship on either R&F or O&A  The narrator in Fight Club is the man we will be, Patrick Bateman in American Psycho is the man we want to be Eliza Dushku- Hotter Than Brittney | ||||

I like AFRO shows just as much as the next guy, but with syndication I doubt we'll ever hear many AFRO shows in the future unless R&F are syndicated in O&A's cities. | ||||
