O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	Ok, so maybe I am partial, but I happened to watch The Fast and the Furious today (morpheus rules!), and I am thinking..... with the action stars of th 80's aging, who will take over th reigns? Arnold, Stallone, Willis and the rest are past their prime..... who will be the new action stars? Personally, I think Vin Diesel is the shit, but what do you think? School's out, shouldn't you have a job? The Slackjaw School of Satire and Sodomy has completed the removal of all carcinogens..... now they are Tequila's mess! We are officially back in business, first new adoptee gets a lifetime pass to the new fun park facilities! Yes, yes, Spermie World is up and running! Two Slots open. Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70	Vin diesel is great never thought of him as an action star though but he has the makings. I personally like Jet Li as well i have loved him since once upon a time in china the series. I really do not see any big action stars on the horizon but i am not really into action flicks, i am more of a thinking movie person. But brad pitt can handle action films like fight club and snatch. But as far as people like stallone and arnold i think those days may be long gone. Movies like commando, predator, rambo and such are things of the past. Now it's all big explosions and special effects. O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00	between fast and furious and Pitch black vin diesel really is an action star. it's weird, tons of action movies are made but very rarely to we have an actual action star. Gibson, Stallon, Arnie are all of the 80s. Asian martial artists like Jet Li and Jackie Chan and Chow Yun Fat have all achieved great popularity recently in the US but they are all older than action stars 'should' be. He's made a bagillion movies in Hong Kong. :) Anyway, I do love his films, so he can absolutely be on the list, I just want to see him make more American flicks. O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01	The entire action genre is stale.It's all the same plots with the same aging actors.I do like Jet-Li and Jackie Chan.I have yet to see Fast and the Furious.I'll check it out on rental. Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01	i'm pissed cause it seems marky mark is becoming the newest big star in hollywood and i can't fucking stand him. lots of rumors that die hard 4, terminator 3, rocky whatever and all those other sequels are gonna be coming out within the next year or so. hopefully if that happens it will bring back the real movie stars like arnold, stallone and willis. i still think those guys could make great action movies, it's just they're accepting roles in horrible movies like get carter and the 6th day.
