| September 9, 2001 -- LONDON - Toddlers who wet their beds have a greater chance of growing up to be violent criminals, new research reveals.
Scientists found a link between youngsters who show anti-social behavior before they go to school and criminal convictions in later life.
The study, by a team of university experts in England, reveals that young children who throw temper tantrums are seven times more likely to commit a violent crime when they are adults.
And those who wet the bed are three times more likely to do the same.
"There is a link between disobedience, hyperactivity, day wetting and soiling and criminal convictions in later life," said Professor Jim Stevenson, of King's College in London.
