| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | Okay, in the wake of all the attacking that went on today, everyone wants to mobilize and get our revenge. So I ask: Who, how, and will it do any good? Do you think simply killing Osama bin Laden would put 10,000 families at ease? Or even his whole faction? I doubt that... Does killing more people justify the people who have already been killed? And do you think that destroying the terrorists that did this will deter OTHER terrorists? To this I say no - it will only cause MORE terrorism... So... any thoughts? Only a group such as Bin Laddin's band of jolley fellows who are so radical, could do somthing like this. C. Considering that they are so dispersed, an all out war would not work. Nothing will satisfy the blood lust that has arisen, but like most people I feel that something must be done, that this deed cannot go unpunished. I think it is time for the world community, led by the US to begin working together through military & intelligence firms to seek and destroy these terrorist groups. This is not just an attack on the US, it is an attack on freedom and the free world. A message needs to be sent worldwide, the states of democracy must show solidarity and unity in facing this menace and challenge if it is to be successful and acheive its goals as a future deterrent.
