Psychopath Registered: Jul. 01	I's not my place to tell anyone what to or not to post but I think that maybe we should not be starting threads on every single unconfirmed report we hear. Unfortunately there are a lot of sick people out there that find it entertaining to call in false bomb threats, etc. There really isn't much of a need to freak eachother out with these false alarms when we should be concentrating on the rescue effort and the rebuilding of our confidence as a nation. Forgive me if I've overstepped any boundries. And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	I agree. These types of bomb threats are bound to happen and the fact is that 99.99% of them are bullshit. There is a lot of bullshit speculation that goes down after such a tragic event and frankly I dont wanna hear that. An example of that was that ridiculous note about how the plane #'s correspond with the date of the attacks. Yes there was a bomb threat at the Empire State building, so what? I remember after Columbine there were like 10 bomb threats at my high school. People do this stuff for shits and giggles and there is no need to give them any credibility by publicizing this stuff. Just let the buildings evacuate for precautionary measures and let it be.

Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70	well we can never especially now be sure if a bomb threat is real or not, in retrospect it is easy to assume. But i will give you this example. I love history and have read hundreds of books spanning the great macedonians to egyptians and romans the crusades up to vietnam. I love the cold war's history and the cuban missle crisis was always fascinating. Because to that day it was the closest we came to actually having a war on our soil, that is until september 11, 2001. But in sometimes readng i couldn't understand their fears with bomb shelters and terror because i guess i knew the outcome. The missles never hit us and all was well. Until The afternoon and morning of Sept. 11th when i feared the worst until it was over, atleast for now. Just bear with the posts of updates and news. But this board is famous for speculation posts and those as always are out of control, calm down on the theories and plans of action guys. Sharing opinions, feelings and thoughs i encourage. We must band together now, but enough with numbers and conspiracies and fuckin nostradamous and lady diana. Psychopath Registered: Jul. 01	We all need to hear updates and news of course but I think most of us are freaked out enough as it is. Maybe we can all wait until the information has been confirmed and make sure it is't posted several times. I have talked to people that are afraid to go into the city, some even too afraid to leave their homes. These bomb scares and false alarms are making the situation worse. This is the time to band together and help to rebuild eachothers' confidence. We need to help one another to feel safe again. As for the consiracy theories...ugh enough of these Nostradamus prophecies, they can be interpreted to fit any situation. The numbers connection? C'mon, show some common sense.What's next? We start posting what our psyhics tell us? Please, all I am asking is to try to stop scaring eachother here. None of us should be in constant fear.
