Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | ..time to move on... not just on the board, but in our daily lives,..it might be still be too soon for some, and i understand, but for the rest, if we satay in a state of depression, then the people who caused all this pain win...as long as it is in good taste, we should get to the more light-hearted side of this community we call "the board".... it might do us some good, i know i have felt better just being around friends telling jokes, so i encourage anybody to tell a joke in this thread....AS LONG AS IT IS IN GOOD TASTE!!! RIP RESCUE 1 AND LADDER 54....you are truly heroes of hell's kitchen......

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | geeda... I whole heartedly agree... for some, it is time to go back to our daily routines... for others it may take some more time...and for those who need it, there are many outlets both hear & other places to voice your feelings, emotions or opinions...quote:well, I can't think of anything funny to say right now...but you better just hope GonzoStyle doesn't start telling jokes in here...

I'll wait for my cue, so i don't say anything that will make me public enema number 1. Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | but in all truthfullness i was thinking of doing a post like this but to be honest we can't just flip and turn on the funny switch it has to be a natural transition. It started with the dana dillon post and moved on to other's for some the greivance will take longer so don't expect people to flock in this thread and just be magically funny. Just give it some time and things will eventually go back to normal, but i agree laughter is trully good for us now. I know people like myself feel kind of guilty laughing or even changing the channel from CNN, but we must we can not be guilt laden forever. My friend and I went out last night to dinner and made a deal not to talk about what happened while eating....we laughed and talked and joked, and for the hour we were eating, we felt just a bit better. Of course all of our emotions are a roller coaster, but we need to try to be strong because there are many hard days to come.
