| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Aug. 01  | I'm driving home today and I'm about 5 blocks from my house when I notice firetrucks pulled off to the side of the road with their lights flashing. I thought something was going down so I start checking out the situation. Then I see firemen in their gear, one or two standing near the trucks and one in the middle of an intersection. I finally figured out that they were collecting money from drivers in big boots. I assume this collection was for the relief effort. Being that I don't live in a suburban area, this was strange to see. My point to this is have any of you guys seen this going on in your respective neighborhoods. I donated myself but it still struck me as odd to put the fire department out there to collect money. What do ya think? | ||||
