Psychopath Registered: Jul. 01	ok. was watching the damn marathon on TNN."god I suck", anyways borg and go'aould on stargate, they have shields that deflect high speed and power weapons...i.e. bullets and phasers. just use a damn knife or bow and arrow, both enemies have proved in past episodes that their defense does not stop such weapons. for such all powerful beings why has nobody brought up the fact that you can kill them with a fucking slingshot... just wondering? adopted by crx girl

O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 00	The Borg thing always bothered me until in First Contact when Picard wasted two of them with 1920's Tommyguns. He should have taken the hint and replicated a shit load, but that's just my opinion. As for the Goa'uld, I beleive the effectiveness of the shields has to do with how FAST the object is moving. Also, the scene your talking about, O'Niel hit him in the palm of the hand where the shield was generated from, so the blade only had to penetrate a little bit before it shattered the crytal that generated the shield.
