| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Aug. 01  | No, not the actors on soaps but your opinions on watching them. Personally, there is one certain show that I started watching when I was like 6 years old and to this day, if I'm around, I'll turn it on to see what's going on, who's new, who's gone, who's dead, etc. I know wrestling is the only "true" male soap opera, which I also enjoy, but what about regular old-fashioned soap operas? Also, any ladies on the board that force your man to watch your favorite soap and, if so, does he now enjoy it? Who shot J.R.? | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | When I was in like fourth and fifth grade I used to go home for lunch and my mom would always make us watch Days of Our Lives. Yes, that could very well make me a "feggit" but you know what, I definitely "get" all of Ant's total references to the show, which at least makes O&A that much more enjoyable. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | When my bf and I were both working nights, I used to force him to sit through Days of Our Lives and Passions (my mom's been watching Days for as long as I can remember so I got into the habit of watching). He kinda got into them, thought they were ridiculous, but watched anyway- there are some hot chicks on there. But Passions is at least purposefully ridiculous- there was actually an episode where the teens went into hell to fight demons and save one of their souls. Then the house got sucked into hell...weird shit. Plus there's this Mini Me-dude that's supposed to be a doll whose best friend is a witch..err, nevermind  We Have Not YetBegun To Fight NEVER FORGET!!! | O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00 | Every day coming home from school, all the way from first grade through high school (except the days I was working or had practice), my mom would have Channel 7 soap operas on TV. It's not like I made a point to watch them, but it was the only TV in the house. I'd be sitting at the kitchen table eating or doing homework and I'd be hearing all about Luke and Laura and how the Quartermain's were trying to take over the world. I liked General Hospital, but was not a big fan one One Life to Live The only thing I got out of 12+ years of watching those soaps was plenty of material for my "spank bank". All of those women were so freaking gorgeous. Even the ugly people are beautiful. You want to call me a fag for looking at hot women...go right ahead :) By the way, could someone pass me my cosmo? Days, GH, Port Charles, and all those nighttime ones, I even watch reruns of the classic nighttime ones on SoapNet. My ex bf told me he still watches General Hospital cause I got him addicted to it, and we broke up 2 years ago. Special thanks to Austin for all the help he gave me. I am proud to have been a newbie of his. Congrats to all my fellow graduates.  | ||||

Then I didn't get a pick of night time TV before I got my own, so there was Dynasty... which was actually fun: Heather Locklear and Emma Samms... Nice! Then in college we used to all watch Melrose and 90210, but I kept watching after I graduated. Sad, I know. I currently watch no soap operas except the WWF.
