| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70  | Do any of you realize that most people can no longer see your sigs? It's only been the last few days, but none of them are showing up. You might say it's my computer. But, from 4 different computers, NO YAHOO PICS ARE SHOWING. I don't know what's causing this. So, if you figure it out, please let me know. It's rather annoying when someone posts a supposedly funny picture and all we see is x. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is K1d when I lay my vengeance upon you. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | I mentioned this in another thread, but I'll say it again here. Yahoo is doing a major overhaul of all their systems. Among other things, they are combining their Yahoo "Groups" and Yahoo "Clubs" services. In the process, it is very likely that some groups/clubs might be lost altogether, or they have disabled hotlinking of pictures while they get their shit together. In the meantime, you Yahoo guys should disable your sigs, or find alternate hosting.

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I think its an intermittent occurrence with the Yahoo group sigs - I'm on a dialup at work and I'm not saving pics to the PC (temp internet files are cleaned out with each logon/logoff). One minute I'll see the x's...a few minutes later the pics will download. I'm with GW. Its only a matter of time before Yahoo sends out the "start paying for your web space on our servers or you're gone" emails.  You can reach me through AIM or email. | Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | For my little contribution.... Kid and Seph's pics are the only ones showing through. I guess if you have your pics hosted on Yahoo, you should just delete them and hotlink from another place. Proctor and Gamble allows hotlinking. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | OK, I just cleaned everything out of my temporary internet folder (cookies and all - just to be absolutely sure). I logged off (which cleans it all out - again, to be sure). Logged back on, came into this thread, and I see everyone's sig. Maybe its a connection problem for those of you who don't see the sigs? I'm on dialup here, so maybe thats the difference. At home (cable) I have seen the red x's lately, but like I said they are there one minute, I hit refresh and the pics come through. I've tested on different computers and different connections, and they are not showing up consistently. I don't care what little tricks you can do to make them show up, I'm not going through it just to see your sig pics. If you like x's or you only want certain people to see your sig pic, and only occasionally, then leave them the way they are.
