Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | I was looking into the school... Has anyone went there? Is it worth the $10,000 tuition? Any horror stories or good stories?

O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 00 | quote: Now that is funny! Sally Struthers reference...always funny. nj_voodoo: If you want to get into broadcasting the best way in my opinion is to get a job at a station. First of all, around how old are you? The younger the better (obviously), but there are plenty of people who start out later on. It just takes a while to work your way up in the business. Secondly, how much money are you willing to make..or better yet, how little are you willing to make? Most full-time entry-level radio jobs pay about $300 a week. Bottom line is that you don't have to go to school to learn how and a lot of stations are willing to hire and train (smaller markets of course).
