| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | I feel I have to vent some anger. I am so sick of people coming to the board and not getting it! Case in point: I grooms myself. Here is a prime example of a member who just looks to cause trouble. Froy posts a specific post in GD regarding the return of the Adoption program, and this member has total disregard of Froy's post. He posts shit that defiles the thread! The Adoption program is an important one. Froy has taken the time to post a FAQ regarding the board. Many veteran members and Moderators/Adminstrators have been here to help new people with navigation, postings, whatever! What more can be done? When are these members going to understand the meaning of this message board? I come here to take a break from work, and enjoy reading what many of the people post here. I actually consder some of you my friends, even though I don't know you personally. Maybe it is just me cause I am cranky today (or is it Grumpy). Anyway, that is all! I think there should be a page that you have to read before you are able to attain a screen name. You should also be required to have a big brother before getting the sn. I think that would stop hundreds of stupid people from becoming members, and it would make the adoption program work. It's their personality to come in acting like king shit, never apologize for anything, never back down for a second, and piss everyone off. These are probably the same people who, in real life, will tell you to fuck yourself when you ask them to turn off their cellphones in a movie theater, will talk as loud as possible in resteraunts, cut you off in traffic while giving you the finger, etc. etc. Making them read a page won't change them. People who know me on the board from what I post know that I enjoy joking with everyone. It feels good to have a place like this to have some fun. As you can tell, I visit often, with my number of posts. Thank god for mods like Gonzo, Face, Corpse, Opak, Sean, and of course, Froy, for all the work they do here. | Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | I hoped i handled the IGM thing well and i didnt want to ban him for a couple reasons. One being that i am not one to ban off the drop of a hat. Then it makes the board and me look bad. It looks like i have nothing to say and i am just abusing my powers. Also he wasnt being a tard he was being stubborn and he just needed someone to explain the rules to him which i did. I always am level headed and willing to talk things out and i will always lay out a well thought out and good argument. I will never just say "go fuck yourself" because that just shows you have nothing to say. I gave him several chances and like i said if i was a gung ho asshole i woulda banned him on page 2 of that thread. I am tired of mods being thought of as dictators and that people should fear us. This is not Cuba and we are not castro, you should respect us for the work we do and you should learn to follow the rules. That is all we ask follow the rules and contribute and have fun.
