Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | Lucky for you, I live in Boston. For Mardi Gras in Boston, the place to be is 119 Merrimac. Luckily that is both the name of the bar as well as the address so you shouldn't get lost. Lots of toplessness. It's really wild all year round, but especially on that Tuesday. If you want to fit in dress wild with loud colors, freaky hair and shit. And of the many years I've been in Boston, this is the only place that you can expect to see some nudity for beads. It just doesn't happen in this Puritan town. Trust me, if you ask around, people will say "Big Easy" which is really fucking Cheesy. It's really young, and really lame. No one does anything. It's just a regular bar night with beads. Don't bother. 119 Merrimac is where it's at. When are you going to be in Boston? Weeknights or weekends? The other good go-to bars are The Rack (was featured on E! Wild on) which is a more of a bar than a dance club. Pravda, Whiskey Park, and La Boom are more upscale late 20s hang outs. That's about it.

Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 02 | I was in Boston a number years ago for 2 weeks at a company doing some training on a new system we bought. Being from Seattle, and at the time really into the music scene (pre-grunge sprawl), I thought it would be cool to check out he music in town. I made the mistake of going on line and asking some people where the cool spots with good music were at. Needless to say, the only places that were recomended to me turned out to be gay bars.

Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 02 | Agreed on 119 Merrimac. Also, I think The Rack is a good joint. The women there are pretty damned hot. It's always got a great selection of hot bartender babes as well. If you like crappier joints, The Rattlesnake is a perpetual post-college Frat craphouse. Stay away from the Big Easy like OAAWITE suggested. The place blows. Dick's Last Resort in Prudential Center is a college fave and some nights you're almost guaranteed a good fight. Depends on what you're looking for, but I'd stick with 119 Merrimac and The Rack.

Dick's Last Resort and Fire and Ice, sign me up. Anyway (kinda off the topic) was anyone in Philly last year for Mardi Gras? Those riots (or whatever you want to call them) sucked. I couldn't get down there all day, and then finally got there at 11, right when the problems started. We nearly got trampled, hit in the head with bottles, my friend got punched, but it was worth it to see a few nice sets of cans.
