Here are some updates I found interesting. quote: INFINITY and WESTWOOD ONE are accepting hard alcoholic beverage ads on a case-by-case basis, reports RADIO BUSINESS REPORT. The spots are being accepted primarily for use in sports packages. It says sports, but that doesn't mean it's limited to. So all your favorite alcohols could be buying up airtime and we might not have to hear spots for that SWEET tasting stuff and 'Playmate of the Apes'. This next one is for the DC Listeners: quote: ALL ACCESS has learned that WESTWOOD ONE is dropping syndication of WJFK/WASHINGTON's SPORTS JUNKIES show in mid-MAY. Affiliates are reportedly being told the network is not planning to offer a replacement for now. We can only hope Tubby Tom is next.
