| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | Well, the dates and times are finally all set for the 2002 OA.com softball games. Game 1 will be played on Saturday, June 15th at 3pm. I know that sounds a little late, but that was the best they had. The original date was supposed to be June 1st, but the O&A softball game in Newark screwed up those plans. We will have the picnic area that day starting at noon so it may be a good idea if we do the whole eating thing before the games instead of in between. Game 2 will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7th anywhere between noon and 2 pm. That is still a ways off so there is no reason to set any times in stone yet for that date. The park we will be using for both games is Rahway River Park in Rahway, NJ. I tried to find a field central to all board members (NY, LI, N. NJ & S. NJ) and this was the best available. Directions will follow in a week or so as soon as we figure out how to get there from all locations. If you haven't done so already and want to get in before the draft, go here to sign up. OA.com 2002 Softball Season Now, last but not least, I would like to thank Mrs. Moosen for all the phone calls she made, especially to the BITCH in the Parks Dept. It was your persistance that got her lazy ass to do her damn job and find out what dates and parks were available. You stepped up big time when I couldn't take care of things from work. I can't thank you enough for that sweetie. :) Well, that's all folks. If you have any questions regarding the field, feel free to ask. I'll try to answer as best I can.

I imagine we'll be playing on fields 3 or 4 since they are closest to the picnic area. It's a nice park though. The cops are pretty cool too even if they are county.
