Hanger-On Registered: Feb. 02 | Just bored and wondering who else might be a roadster in here. I know there has to be some riders on this board. Me. I own a 82 Harley, Shovle Head. It is out of commision this year, Engine had a few too many miles and need a complete overhaul. While Im slowly getting that done, I suffer the humiliation of riding a 82 Yamaha Maxim....I really dont care as long as it goes though.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | FTLT, what are you asking for the Panhead...(got any pics of it?) ...a friend of mine is looking for an old one. as for me, I ride a 1976 Triumph 750 BonnEVILle chopper... It's got a lot of Harley parts on it, Mukuni Racing Carbs, as well as quite a few custom made parts... sick thing is, the bike only weighs about 340 lbs, so it really screams...

Hanger-On Registered: Feb. 02 | FN, very nice Triumph. I have a hollowed out Triumph frame sitting in my back yard that I keep telling myself I want to build. I believe it is a 76 Triumph Bonneville

Psychopath Registered: Jan. 02 | As you can see, it's been redone, not restored to original...The majority of the engine parts have been black wrinkle coated...Very low mileage since the re-do, though I forget the exact number, I'll add it when I get home... O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | FTLT... that's a sweet ride... i'll try to show my buddy the pics in the next couple days, if he's interested, i'll get in touch with you about a price... ...and, Paperboy... thanks, I didn't build that bike myself, a friend of mine built it, and it is very custom... about 50% of the bike is either Harley parts or made from scratch... as far as building your own... it can be as cheap or as expensive as you want it... i'd suggest looking for an older bike that's been somewhat modified, then give it your own touch... you'd be suprised what you'll find at swap meets and online for dirt cheap... my bike ended up costing my buddy about $3-4000 before he finally had it set up the way he wanted it, but then again, i also know guys who have dumped $10-20,000 into a bike & it's still not on the road... and others who bought a clunker for $500 and had them on the road in a matter of days... it all depends on your motivation & wallet...
