| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | Ok peoples... I know there's alot of us who live in North Jersey (Morris/Sussex/Warren/Essex counties) close to Rt. 80. Who's up for a Car Pool, Wagon Train or good ol' fashioned "Road Trip" to either or both of these events? I am looking to go to both events. I have no problem driving to Hoboken (pool tourney) alone, but LI (the Road Show) is quite the haul to drive solo. I know it's kinda short notice, but if you live in the area & would like to go, post here, IM me @ FN Moron or E-Mail Me ASAP so we can set something up... Thanks PS: just a reminder...the Road Show is a 21 & over show, so sorry to anyone who's underage & can't attend the debauchery. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Maynard, thanks for pointing that out... I live off Exit 28 of Rt. 80 & I'm guessing that the Rockaway Mall (exit 35) might be a good place to meet & depart from unless anyone else has a better place to meet. I'm not positive, but I believe that the Road show takes place during regular show hours (3-7pm) since that's when the last few took place. An actually departing time would have to depend on the start time of the show & if we decide to stop & pick up more people on the way. I'm in the process of trying to borrow my friends Conversion Van (which seats like 7 or 8 comfortably, complete with TV & VCR) but haven't solidified the deal yet. In the mean time if anyone else has a multiple passenger vehicle & would like to go, get in touch with me... | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | ok, I just heard O&A say that at the Road Show the doors open at 6pm. So, I guess in order to get out to LI in time to get in there & get a good seat, I'd suggest we leave NJ around 2:30-3pm. It's quite a drive out to LI & I'd like to avoid as much traffic as possible. If you've ever driven to LI you know what I mean. As far as the Pool Tourney... I know that this thread was about North Jersey, but I didn't want to start another carpool thread, figure we can combine it into one. I am planning on driving to the pool tournament from southern Middlesex Co. and probably have room for a couple of people, E-Mail Me.  Say hello to my little friend(s)! | ||||
