| Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01  | For anyone who is interested, www.cnn.com (sorry, I can't link) has pics and plans for the new Trade Center. There's a 6 tentitive plans as of now, and the final decision will be made in December. There are a couple I like, and I was wondering what everyone else thought. I agree there should be a big memorial but to not rebuild on the footprints is ridiculous. I agree also that the building should not be as high as they used to be.  | ||||

If they're not going to build something big, if they're not going to make NYC have a fucking skyline again, then that means we are afraid. The point of terrorism is to instill fear. So if we're too afraid to build something big, we've lost.  New AIM, y'know. | ||||

They need something that would stand out, some leading edge architectural venue that would be the envy of the world. I have mixed feelings about the restrictions for the memorial.
