| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | There is another Cigar tasting coming up on Friday, March 23rd at the Tobacco Barn, 1256 Stelton Road, Piscataway. The event is from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thanks Kid for that! The two brands represented are Santa Damiana and H. Upmann 2000. You usually receive one cigar of each, free cutter, and snacks, beer or soda. They also usually have a few give-aways and price specials. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Dec. 00 | Dog, the Cuban Cohiba's are a sweeeeeet cigar. I would rate it better than the Monte Cristos. Just make sure you don't get suckered into buying the dominican. An easy way to test it is to buy a Dominican Cohiba (about $10) and smell them both. The Cuban Cohiba has a very different scent than the Dominican. If they smell the same, you got shafted. This holds true with most of the Cubans. That and the taste. They also taste very different. Here's an opportunity for a plug (yes, I'm a plug whore). There are 2 sets of 2 Cuban cigars as prizes in the Pool Tourney this saturday. You got play and win to get them. Oh yea...I'm sure you guys are aware of this, but the Dominican and Cuban Cohibas have totally different Bands. He passed em out to everyone. I didnt get one cause I dont smoke em. but if I knew you did I would have mailed it to ya. Damn Oh well. If he gets anymore Ill let ya know. | ||||
