With all the oa.commers looking for work, why don't we start our own thing while looking? I know there are a lot of talented people on this board and I think we could create something cool. But since we're on the same track here i would be glad to offer my services. I can touch children, make sick a disturbing posts, i can come up with really sick stories. besides that i do have a degree in business and i am currently doing the web development thing i told you about but i am pretty much at entry level at this point. But as far as business wise i do know a lot about the internal workings of business. Plus i can be the doggy you sic on people when you don't have the balls to fire them. But seriously this could be a good great idea. If a few people get interested in this we could organize a meeting of some sort and get ideas rolling. These things are always better when done in person. But we can get the ball rolling in here and jon probably has some ideas already if i know him well enough. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I'd offer up my business, but it's a sole proprietorship... not to mention, now that I'm not contracting anymore, it's being dissolved. Froy's got the corporation, so that would be the place to begin. You'd be surprised how far a consulting business can go. With the right people WHO KNOW THEIR SHIT, you start to build a name for yourself. Best part is, we start off as the workers, but as the business grows, we'd become the executives. Ground-up, development would be slow, but it's doable. As I said, gotta have the right people who know their shit. And if you don't know your shit as well as you think you do, you get trained. The people who DO know their shit can help out. Wow. This could work. I'd be glad to offer services... PC software and hardware, and servers are my thing.... every Microsoft OS except for the 2K Server family - I really need a chance to play with those.
