Bookies in England are offering odds of 500-to-1 that Michael has played a bizarre trick on the public all these years and the siblings are actually one individual. There's no question that Michael, 42, and La Toya, 45, have similar faces and singing voices - and they stand about the same height. They also have had such a rocky relationship over the years that they rarely, if ever, get together. But could Wacko Jacko and La Toya have pulled off the greatest stunt in show-biz history? The betting agency William Hill says there's enough of a question that it's willing to shell out a cool half-million dollars to anybody who bets $1,000 and can provide evidence. "This wager is obviously a difficult one to prove, but who knows? Have you ever seen them in the same place at the same time?" said William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe. One man who has already put up his money is Terry Brookes, a printing manager who bet $150. He stands to make $75,000 if he's right. "For years, I've been convinced that Michael and La Toya are the same person. Every time he has an operation and gets paler, La Toya also appears to become whiter," Brookes told London's Sun newspaper. "As far as I can tell, they have never been seen or photographed together. Their voices also sound remarkably similar. I never usually bet . . . but I really think there is a chance of my bet coming good." Other bettors say if anybody is weird enough to do a sister act, it's Michael - who has a zoo at his estate, keeps life-size mannequins in his bedroom and wears a surgical mask in public. A spokeswoman for Jackson was flabbergasted by the unusual wager. "Oh, Lord! What are they thinking?" she laughed. Michael and La Toya appeared together years ago in the music videos for "The Way You Make Me Feel" and "Say Say Say" - but wagerers argue that could have been done through special effects. They showed pictures of the 2 of them and he looks exactly like her. I heard he is trying to alter his looks and changing himself to look like Elizabeth Taylor.
