| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | I've been a big supporter of this board for a while now and it used to be alot of fun coming here. Lately it seems a little weird around here lots of lame topics and "controlled" threads. I've also noticed some of the mods are on some serious power trips. Am I the only one who feels this way? Recently, we've been losing a lot of veterans, regular posters, mods, etc. While I'm sure they're doing somthing about it, it has changed. See My Sig Pics! And no thread ever gets moved without due cause. There are more people on the board now than ever, can't you see that? Oh yeah, and I'm really a skinny white guy from Huntington, Long Island.

And by the way, on top of that, my grandmother's third grade teacher was from Tenessee. There is indeed a conection.

I only said that there's been a change, and some people don't seem to want to admit to it, or do anything about it. I still like coming here, that's why I came back. But, I would like to see some activity around here. And endless topics on inane subjects is hardly the way to do it. Why must every debate get stifled before it gets started? Do we all have to get along? I, for one, don't feel that is a healthy situation.

| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | Seems like you missed the window of opportunity. People were bitching that there were too many newbies running around untamed. The newbies ran the vets out, and now you have chaos. There are so many "single serving" posters, that it is difficult to carry a conversation sometimes. In the past, it was hard to turn away from the computer, because there were so many interesting and active topics to post in. I think that this time of year would be a lull on any board. But, it seems a long time in coming on this board.
