| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | Anyone on the board ever go up to the Delaware to raft? I run an annual trip up to Kittatinny in Barryville, NY, and thought this might be a cool summer adventure for the board members. The best thing about this trip is NO AGE RESTRICTIONS! Everyone can go! I have information from Kittatinny for the 2001 season, so, if we get enough people interested, we could charter a bus, or drive up and go! Post your thoughts here! | Psychopath Registered: Aug. 00 | I went 2 years ago Red....and had a blast. We rented a campsite for like $11 and spent acouple of nights. Got hammered, did some fishing then cruized down the Delaware. | ||||

Just don't get stuck in the eel traps or you end up on the front page of the local paper. Of course, if you wow the newspaper and hold up a bumper sticker that could be a good thing. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | If we go as a group, here is the breakdown: 1-9 people, $31/person 10-19 people, $29/person, group leader goes free 20-29 people, $28/person, group leader and friend goes free 30 + people, $27/person, group leader and two TWO! friends go free We would adjust the cost to include the freebies, so everyone would actually pay. There are other costs, such as, Damage Release Option for $1.50/person. If we use a chartered bus, we get a discount of $1/person. There are four trips to choose from, the one I usually book is a 7 mile trip from Barryville to Pond Eddy. Alcohol is permitted, except for hard liquor. Check out their site for more info. Visit this Website I would be willing to volunteer my efforts in organizing a trip for board members. It would not be an official board party, unless Froy wants to do that. You also get brief instructions from a counselor regarding the trip, current conditions, etc. There are also Rangers that patrol the banks and the river. It is a great time. If you have never done it before, I can assure you it is not dangerous at all!
