| Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00  | I know this is gonna come off looking more pediphiliac than Louie Anderson playing googies with a kindergarten class, but I wanted to know if anyone on the board knew anything about possibly getting involved with youth coaching in the Bronx or Manhattan. I'm just a college student with a lot of free time looking to do something productive and maybe fun. Can't drink beer everyday. Any help would be appreciated | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 00 | Paid or unpaid? Unpaid is easy. My brother has worked with PAL and the local community center. They are ALWAYS looking for trustworthy people willing to work for free. Hint: volunteer work looks good on college and grad school applications and can impress some people during job interviews. Paid is tougher. Helps to show experience (usually gained from volunteer work). Best thing to do is go to the local PAL, community center, etc. and apply to volunteer for the summer. PAL games are all in the evening and on weekends, so you can usually work your normal summer job and still help out. Good luck.  "I thought I had a great idea today, but it never really took off.
