Does anyone remember when Channel 5 [rime-time programming used to be outrageously tasteless?? I remember my favorite shows were the first few seasons of Married with Children,Boys Will Be Boys, Women in Prison, and V...I bet not too many people remember the last 3 shows...

But my favorite show at that time had to have been Werewolf--I was only like 8 at the time, but that was the bloodiest and most violent show on TV...Anyone know where I can find old episodes anywhere????

I've recently been turned on to a TV show that was considered a masterpiece because of its allegory, The Prisoner. There are so many but off of the top :

Quantum Leap
Wiseguy
The Equalizer
Hogan's Heroes
Mash
Happy Days
Starsky and Hutch
Tour Of Duty
Night Caller
American Gothic

Since you were a big FOX fan from the beginning, remember Herman's Head ?

NBC gave us V and the incredibly lame "The Power of Mathew Starr" about a superpowered space prince living as a normal teen. I think Louis Gosett was in.

My favorite old shows are MASH, WKRP & the Incredible Hulk.

Oh yeah and The Dukes of Hazzard...that show taught me how to drive.

(and, yes, I liked Herman's Head, but that wasn't THAT old)

M*A*S*H was the absolute best show of its kind! I still catch the reruns on occasion.

This dog is not much for TV shows, prefers sports and movies. I do not watch ANY TV shows, and could not tell you anything about them!

"SOAP" was a trip....Billy Crystal as a gaaaeeey guy, and that stupid puppet had me going all the time.

Which reminds me of "Benson".......Which reminds me of "Good Times"...which brings up "The Jeffersons".....And we can't forget "Welcome Back Kotter"...

Damn, Spit. I forgot about Werewolf. The one about the guy who went form city to city trying to huntdown the master werewolf and kill him to cure himself. It was awesome.

Than there was the one with the hot chick who was a werewolf and the Brit who watched out for her.

Anyway, if you want to see any episode of any TV show that ever aired, go to the Museum of the Moving Image. They have private rooms where you and your friends can watch episodes of any show.

First obscure series I thought of was Automan. That was a pretty cool one. Or Misfits of Science, with Courtney Cox.

Looking at this with a 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon kind of way, I think All In The Family had the most shows spun off from itself. I like when TV Land does a marathon. A few more:

Barney Miller
Sanford And Son
Chico And The Man

And, who could forget some of those other Private Eye/Cop shows from the 70's :

Cannon
Mannix
Ironsides
Barnaby Jones
Barretta
Police Story
Mc Cloud

And, for scary Saturday nights there was Chiller Theater

Teen -Flashback...it's all good

My contribution: Manimal

Anybody remember the name of the wanna-be Knight Rider about a guy on a super motorcycle that had turbo-boost and weapons?
