(APBnews.com) -- A convicted child sex offender was arrested this week after complaints that he dressed up as a clown and inappropriately touched several young girls at a Christmas parade. Norman Edward Rose, who turns 64 on Sunday, allegedly donned a familiar disguise and joined a weekend march in this city on Dec. 2, although he was apparently not invited. Police say parade-goers alerted patrol officers that a clown riding a scooter was touching children inappropriately. "Two of our officers noticed that he was brushing young girls in the crotch area with a feather duster," said Holly Hill police Sgt. Stephen Aldrich. He said the officers told Rose to stop what he was doing and leave the holiday parade.
