O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 00	Saw a documentary on what WILL happen to Seattle when the BIG one hits. First, an 8.0 or higher flattens most of the city, rupturing gas and water mains, collapsing buldings, etc. Then, the earthquake triggers an eruption of Mt. Reneer. The snowcap on Mt. Reneer comes down as a huge mudslide blocking the major roads in and out of the city. The cloud of volcanic ash makes helicopter rescue impossible. Simultaneously, the earthquake triggers a tidalwave that wipes out everything within a few miles of the shore making escape by sea impossible. Then the full volcanic eruption kills everyone like Pompai. I don't know about you, nut I'M not moving to Seattle. "I thought I had a great idea today, but it never really took off.
