(AP) - ``Survivor'' cast member Michael Skupin was attacked with pepper spray during an event to promote workplace safety. An animals right activist allegedly doused Skupin in the face as he visited Columbia for the presentation Tuesday, authorities said. David Cravens, 30, was arrested on three counts of misdemeanor assault because two other people were also hit with the pepper spray. All were treated at the scene. Skupin, 39, said the suspect gave him a letter indicating he was not acting as part of any organized group. He said People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals had expressed concern over an episode of ``Survivor: The Australian Outback (news - Y! TV)'' in which Skupin killed a pig. But Skupin said PETA had backed down after he discussed the incident with them. PETA spokeswoman Kathy Guillermo called the killing ``completely unnecessary'' and ``cruel,'' but added, ``We were not involved in any way in the spraying of this guy.''
