| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70  | NEW YORK (CNN) -- A teen actor on the popular television program "The Sopranos" was arrested Wednesday in New York on a robbery charge, police said. Robert Iler, 16, was charged in connection with an incident on the Upper East Side. He was also charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Iler plays Anthony (A.J.), the son of the lead character in the show, Tony Soprano, the head of an organized crime family. In the past season, the character faced the prospect of attending military school after he was caught vandalizing a swimming pool and stealing a geometry exam. A police statement said two people told authorities they had been robbed by four males. Police canvassed the area and located four people who fit the description given by the victims. New York police said the victims were robbed of $40. Also arrested on charges of robbery were Michael Cournede, 19, Alban Selimaj, 16, and a 15-year-old who was not identified. The popular series airs on HBO, which is owned by the parent company of CNN.com, AOL Time Warner. If you want to take the chance and carry around a doobie or two, it will not cause a problem in most cases. However, when you throw in some other criminal act, like robbery, you are now skating on thin ice. Personally, I could care less what someone chooses to put into their body; just don't whine about the consequences when you get caught.
