| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | I was fishing this afternoon in a river in central Jersey, and as I passed this island, I heard a commotion behind me. It turned out to be a clan of, well how do I put this, SPICS. (I know, I know, ding ding ding of the inappropriate bell) The men waded into the river with a net, attempting to catch what turned out to be dinner, while the children splashed around. When I was headed back to my car, hours later, I passed them by to find a couple of Corona bottles floating in the water. This pissed me off so I picked them up and placed them on thier cars before I left. As I passed them on the other side of the island, I could smell a fire cooking up something. All I could think of was the animal fetus.(See my FU post) All of this struck me as kind of weird. I know I was out there too. But I was enjoying a recreational activity. They were there with their families getting a meal. Well, whatever floats your boat. If it makes you feel at home, by all means, wash your close in the river, just clean up after yourselves. Anyway, have any of you experienced anything like this, weather witnessing or participating? Drink up and go Home! | ||||
