| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | There are two pronunciations (there are actually 2 spellings too) Chow and Tsao.. Tsao is pronounced with a soft "T" (ALMOST a ch sound, but not quite.. thus phoneticly spelled like this: T-sow (the T is barely pronounced at all almost like a sylable of it's own, and sow is treated as the stressed sylable) Chow is pronounced as written, of course.
