Clone Wars is a cool title, Attack of the Clones is a really cheesy one. And AF, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes will probably be a better movie. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 00 | There's two words that explain why I like Star Wars as much as I do. "Timothy Zahn". His "Heir to the Empire" trilogy was BRILLIANT and gave more depth to the movies than Lucas could ever do. I REALLY hope that title is either a bad internet rumor or a "working title". By now, most people have realized that Ep. 2 HAS to be the beginning of the "Clone Wars" that Obi Wan Kenobi mentions briefly to Luke just before giving Luke his father's lightsaber.  I wonder how many people actually read the text people put under their sig pics. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 00 | doc, i liked episode I as well. the lightsaber battle was the best yet, and the pod race scene was incredible - especially when sitting in the middle of the theater instead of the back, where i normally sit (and no i'm not black --- ding ding ding). my problem is this: (bear with me) with each successive movie, lucas has had more simultaneous battles. sw: death star attack esb: luke/darth, leia/chewie/lando escaping cloud city rotj: luke/darth/emperor, han and ground assault, space battle tpm: lightsaber battle, gungans, princess in the palace, and space battle it became too much to keep track of in ep I. i could follow it, but they all get hurt in the end because they aren't as long as they should be. i really would've liked to have seen more space battle, since i don't think any trade federation ships were blown up at all, only a few naboo fighters.
